Mukesh Ambani’s Jio services are expected to come out of beta stage on this New Year, but he is not done enrolling 4G services for his customers.

The date of full launch of its paid services is nigh, so the company is experimenting with new ways to enrol new customers. The company has started a experimental trial to get Jio SIMs home delivered for individuals. Airtel tried a similar strategy when they launched their 4G services.

The programme will be rolled out in a phased manner and individuals will receive an invite to schedule a Jio SIM delivery at home at any time of their choice. The program is being rolled out area wise in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and other metropolitan cities.

In another initiative to speed up the enrolment process Jio has recently started the e-verification where users can get a SIM activated instantly through their Aadhar card.
