The Internet is a global network that connects millions of computers all around the world. People all over the world are trying to get online. But most of the time spent on the internet is on social networking sites sharing photos of your holidays, chatting with your friends and dropping comments on your best friend’s new profile picture. To sum up all this in one word, people spend most of their time on “Facebook”.
Studies have proved that always being active on social networking sites, can psychologically change users thinking.
In the recent US presidential election, Mark Zuckerberg was accused of being responsible to let spread fake news on Facebook which people of the United States claimed that it helped Donald Trump win the election.
The point is, the internet can be a beautiful and horrible place at the same time, and it’s totally fine that sometimes you feel like to stop living in imaginary internet world and go live in a more practical world. But there’s wasn’t an easy way out, till now. Developers from Sweden, Wille Dahlbo and Linus Unnebäck developed a website named Deseat.me, which offers a way to delete your existence on the entire internet with just few clicks.
All you have to do is sign in with your Google account and it will automatically scan for accounts and services that you have ever created and almost forget about it. After scanning it will give you a list of accounts with an easy delete or keep button. And with only few clicks you’ll be dislodged from the entire internet. To be honest, it isn’t a bad idea to consider.
If you’re getting tired of social media trauma, internet-induced stress and psychological pain. The fastest way to get back to serenity is to delete your internet presence once and for all.
In a similar effort few years back, a startup company Unroll.me started a battle against junk and unwanted mails. Unroll.me manages your subscriptions and gives you a list of all the subscriptions which you can then choose to unsubscribe.
Thanks to these geniuses who are working really hard just make our life less miserable.
